Wildfires are reaching buildings and infrastructure more often. We research how to handle that better.
We study how facades, surfaces and objects behave when exposed to wildfire. It's a field where experience from fire testing meets a new kind of risk, one that climate change is making more common, also in Norway.
Our work combines research with ad-hoc testing. Through projects like WildfireSafe and TREEADS, we contribute to knowledge that improves prevention, design and response.
