Fire resistance
We test building elements and structures when you need documentation that stands up to scrutiny.
We perform fire resistance testing in modern furnaces built to international specifications. You get a setup that is precise, efficient and relevant to what you actually need to document.
We test both land-based structures and solutions for maritime and offshore use. We also carry out small-scale pilot furnace testing for verification and product development.
Where needed, we also provide fire technical assessments based on test results and experience.
We offer live streaming during specimen mounting and testing, so you don't have to travel unless you want to.
Land-based structures
Testing of land-based structures and building elements in horizontal and vertical furnaces to verify fire resistance in accordance with national and international standards, for example:
- EN 1363-1 og EN 1363-2
- EN 1364-1 og EN 1364-2
- EN 1365-1 og EN 1365-2
- EN 1366-3 og EN 1366-4
- EN 1634-1
- EN 14135
Maritime and offshore structures
Testing of ship/offshore structures and related structural elements in horizontal and vertical furnaces to verify fire resistance in accordance with international standards, for example:
- IMO 2020 FTP Code Part 3
Fire-resistant cabinets and safes
Testing of fire-resistant cabinets (safes) in accordance with NT Fire 017.
Passive fire protection materials
Testing of passive fire protection materials exposed to jet fire, for example in accordance with:
- ISO 22899-1
Pilot furnace for verification and development
Testing of structures and structural elements in a pilot furnace (small/medium scale), for verification and/or product development.
Fire technical assessments
Fire engineering assessments and statements based on standardized testing and fire engineering experience.
