We've been testing and researching fire since 1934. The goal has stayed the same throughout: to understand fire, so we can protect lives, assets and society. 

RISE Fire Research is owned by RISE in Sweden and SINTEF in Norway — two of Europe's leading research institutions. That gives us deep expertise, broad capabilities, and a network that reaches well beyond our own walls.
